Warrior Superheat S-Lite | REVIEW | ThatCoultasGuy

First Wear of the Superheat.
The first wear of the Superheat was an enjoyable one to say the least. The tight fit reminds me a bit of the Mercurial series from Nike. The Synthetic upper is stiff at first touch but when it is on feet it isn't noticeable until you bend your foot. When you do, the upper doesn't flex but rather creases in half at the toe box/bottom of the laces which doesn't necessarily harm the feel but it is worth mentioning.
The rest of the upper felt great, with the mesh rear of the boot being left without the fused-on layer which is found in the forefoot. This allows for breathability and makes sure that your foot doesn't overheat, something which I found to be great. The tongue also features exposed mesh running down both sides.

Something which I thought might have hindered the performance in wet weather was this mesh but it doesn't allow rain or moisture to get into the boot so a big thumbs up here.

Traction in the boot is fantastic. The mixed soleplate (both SG studs and FG blades) provides a good amount of grip and stability. I tried these out on a pitch which was plenty wet and Firm Ground Studs would have been out of the question.

The look of the boot is one which divides opinion but one which I like the look of. The crazy graphics makes this a standout boot and the minimal Warrior branding on the heel allows for a sleek looking design. I have the launch  Red/Chill Pepper/ Cyber Yellow (Red/Yellow/Black) which looks fantastic to me and really showcases the ''Superheat'' name well.
After 15-20 Hours of Playtime.
I've now been wearing the Superheat for around 17 hours and I can tell you that they only get better with more wear.

The forefoot which was slightly stiff at first has now softened up and is really pliable. The soleplate has also softened up considerably compared to fresh out of the box and benefits the overall experience of playing in them.

The fit is relatively the same as when new but does seem to 'expand' a little. I wouldn't say it stretches like a natural leather would but defiantly does seem to expand.

There seems to be only small durability issues as the mesh has come undone at some points on the boots but hasn't unraveled further so not something I'm worried about but something to take note of.

Overall, this is a fantastic boot and you can pick them up at amazing prices depending on where you look.

  1. Hey buddy, thanks for a great review. Just wondering if these fit true to size? I normally wear a 6.5uk for my footy boots.

    1. Cheers,
If its a 6.5 UK in any boot other than adidas then go with a 6.5UK.
Have you seen the sale on these at Lovell Soccer?
