Warrior Gambler 2 K-Lite | REVIEW | ThatCoultasGuy

The upper on the Gambler 2 K-Lite is a soft Kangaroo Leather in the toebox and running up the front and sides of the upper as you can see the line running across the upper below. This really softens up and provides a nice comfortable fit. Treat it with leather balsam and it remains in great condition.
The back half of the shoe is the same woven mesh as on the S-Lite with a synthetic leather material fused over which allows for a locked in/secure fit and feel. It doesn't feel restrictive but does provide a good fit.

The lacing system runs up down the instep of the boot and reminds a lot of the Nike CTR360/Magista line, although this runs deeper down the boot.

The insole is Warriors standard one which gives a great amount of comfort. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you're wanting a boot with a fantastic insole, buy a Warrior boots. This is no exception.
There is an internal heel counter on the production model unlike the photos which were posted onto sites before the release. This is a very solid heel counter and provides a great amount of protection, so no worries if someone comes through the back of you!

The soleplate and stud pattern on the Gambler 2 K-Lite is Warriors standard mixed stud pattern which performs really well on wet, slightly muddy pitches. The plastic studs allow for some good stability whereas the metal studs prove the grip needed when playing on muddy pitches.
Comfort with the shoe is something to mention. When breaking these boots in, these do take 1-2 light sessions until the boot is fully broken in, especially in the heel. Something to get around this is using a hammer on the heel which really helps to break it in and make it soft.

I really like the look of these boots. The classic black and red styling reminds me of a predator colourway. I did end up blacking out the boots as I really love the stealthiness with the shape of the boot and also the stud pattern.
